Zvaigzne noskatās un brīnās
Kas tas par cilvēku tur staigā,
un uzbāzīgi skatās.
Es nevaru saprast,
vai neapnīk tam skatīties uz mani.
Bet cilvēks turpina skatīties,
un tūlīt skaistais mirdzums to pārņem,
ka vaigs tam sāk spīdēt.
Zvaigzne uzdāvināja daļiņu no sava spožuma cilvēkam,
kurš apbrīnoja to skaistumu,
ko radījis ir Dievs.
